Hardships

Use the form "Commercial/MFU Assistance" to apply for commercial or multi-family assistance to implement the Universal Recycling requirements or Plastic Reduction requirements. This may include capital improvements, purchase of new bins/containers, or updated signage. Projects may also include implementing durable (reusable) dishware programs, energy efficient dishwashers, and water refill stations that will be accessible by the public.
Grants will be available on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted. Maximum grant request is $10,000 and is reimbursement based.

Use the form "Residential Assistance" to apply for residential financial assistance. This program is designed to pay for the difference in service cost after implementation of volume-based pricing (PAYT) for up to 3 months.

To be eligible for assistance, your household must:
- Have downsized your trash service. (Example: switched from 96 gallon trash bin to 64 gallon trash bin)
- Have had an increase in your service bill, compared to previous 6-months.
- Household is at or below 80% AMI and/or receive SNAP benefits or equivalent federal assistance.
